Sherry Prator

Sherry Lynn Prator, age 77, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 29, 2021 in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital. Sherry was born July 24, 1944, to Norman and Aline Parker. She was a retired accountant; and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She enjoyed her job during Tax time, spending her free time traveling with her husband and listening to country music. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Cody Ayers; and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Edwin Prator of Queen City, Texas; two daughters, Sondra Ayers and husband Thomas of Queen City, Texas, Genia Davis and husband Charlie of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 2, 2021, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gene Parker officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Courtland Cemetery. Guest registry is available at www.hannerfuneralservice.com.
