Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Keith Copeland, 69, of DeKalb, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in a local hospital. Ronnie was born May 14, 1952 to Edgar and Beautice Copeland. Ronnie was a believer in Christ. He was a United States Army Veteran and was employed at Red River Army Depot for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Beautice Copeland and two sisters, Cleta Rogers and Shirley Copeland. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Kasey and Tiffany Copeland of Texarkana, Texas; three brothers, C.W. Copeland of Malta, Texas; Anthony Copeland of DeKalb, Texas; Paul Michael Copeland of DeKalb, Texas; a special niece, Dana Copeland Pace of New Boston, Texas; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ronnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His family takes great comfort in knowing that his heart was right with the Lord. “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10 A private memorial will be held at a later date.
