JERRY RAY

Jerry W. Ray, age 92, a resident of De Queen, Arkansas died Thursday, August 18, 2022 at his home. Mr. Ray was born July 20, 1930 in Horatio, Arkansas. He was a Navy Veteran and a truck driver. He loved working in his yard and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Waits Ray; his parents, Robert Earl and Eleanor Mary Dickinson Ray; one son, DeWayne Ray; two brothers, Robert Ray and Roy Ray; one sister, Betty Louis Ray. He is survived by three sons, Patrick and Cindy Ray of Brighton, Colorado, Timothy Lee and Shelly Ray of Silt, Colorado and Mark Wesley Ray of De Queen; one sister, Molly Jane Grant of Northglenn, Colorado; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services for Mr. Ray will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in the Clear Creek Cemetery with Bro. John Guiterres officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
