Corinne B. Robinson, age 96, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday December 3, 2022. She was born December 11, 1925, in Cerro Gordo, Arkansas to Devoe Bollinger Sr. and Edna Brazil Bollinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Conway Robinson; sisters, Geraldine Beshear, Maxine Mann and Emogene Gibson; and her brother, Devoe Bollinger Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Vail of Ashland, Oregon; sister, Lou Johnson of Florida; four grandchildren, Alannah Massey of Fayetteville, Jessy Lang of Fayetteville, Kate Brown of Portland, Oregon and Suzannah Massey of Ashland, Oregon; four great grandchildren, Stella Green, Lillian Whittle, Izen Wagner and Frances Corinne Brown. Corinne was raised on a farm near Cerro Gordo, Arkansas and graduated from Horatio High School in 1944. Growing up during The Great Depression, her early years were filled with hard work on the family farm. Soon after graduation, she embarked on adventures that took her from a small rural area in southwest Arkansas to Dallas, Washington DC, San Francisco, and finally settling in Baltimore, MD. It was there she met her husband, Conway Robinson, built their own home, and raised their daughter, Rita. After living in Baltimore from 1953-1978 and reaching retirement age, the decision was made to return to Arkansas and to what has always been her main priority - Family. Initially, they lived at the Little River Country Club managing the property, but in 1981, relocated to Eureka Springs (Beaver Lake) to be close to their granddaughters. While in Eureka Springs, Corinne was a very successful manager of the Arkansas Craft Guild store. In 1997, one final move was made to Fayetteville, AR. “Mommom” as Corinne was affectionally named by her granddaughters was always giving of herself. She was constantly self-educating and striving every day to make herself a better person physically, mentally, and spiritually. For those closest to her, she was their confidant and matriarch. She was a huge blessing to her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
