MARSHA KAY FOLAND

Marsha Kay Foland, 69, of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022. Mrs. Foland was born February 8, 1953 in Atlanta, Texas to Albert Monroe Duke and Mary Helen McGee Duke. “Marsha was an RN for 42 years. Marsha worked in emergency rooms in Texarkana at St. Michael’s and at Hermann Memorial in Houston where she went on life flights to save lives. Marsha worked mostly with children at Texas Children’s hospital in Houston and at Children’s Hospital in Dallas where she worked in neo-natal care and post-operative recovery for children. Her life was devoted to caring for others and when she retired from the career she loved it was to care for her parents in her home.” She was a devoted Christian and loved her bible study. Marsha was an animal lover especially her dog, Bathsheba. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Don Foland of Arlington, Texas and one brother, James Albert Duke of Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Monroe and Mary Helen Duke. Services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Doug White officiating.
