One year ago on January 9th, 2021, Joshua David LeFors, born July 5th, 1998 in Alton Illinois, went to be with the Lord. He is survived by his daughter Violet Amelia LeFors of Texarkana TX; his parents David and Jessica LeFors of Texarkana TX; sisters Lois Davis of Texarkana, TX, Emma and Lilian LeFors of Texarkana TX, and brother-in-law Colton Davis of Texarkana, TX; grandparents Ronald and Patricia LeFors of Texarkana TX, Leonard and Jean Glock of St. Louis, MO and John and Anne Hendrickson of Fairfax VA; as well as 9 uncles, 6 aunts, many cousins and countless other family and friends. In his short life he was a wrestler, football player, welder, millwright apprentice, hunter, fisherman, chess player and body builder. He was especially passionate about fishing. There were few people who knew him that do not have a memorable fishing story to tell, involving Josh. He was a loving father to his daughter, Violet; a fierce and loyal friend to many. He was spontaneous, energetic, personable, honest, single minded, protective, adventuresome, fearless, intelligent and quick to laugh. These are just a few words that describe him, but there were many more. Joshua had a love for life, and a passion for spending time and connecting with people. He was a Christian from a young age and had a giant heart for God and people. He made mistakes in his youth, but always took responsibility for them and was just turning the corner on that part of his life when God called him home. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed here on earth. While he is no longer with us, this is not the end of his story. We know we will see him again. Until then, he is in heaven with his little brother, Justin- fishing with Jesus.
