Linda Sharleen (George) Dumis, age 76, passed away December 25, 2021. Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park, Reno, Texas. Visitation: Noon to 2:00 pm, prior to the service. Linda was born September 2, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York to Richard M. George and Betsy H. (Clemans) George. She was a member of Saginaw United Methodist Church in Saginaw, TX as well as Tapp United Methodist Church in New Boston, TX. She attended the University of Texas before graduating from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a degree in Math. She worked at NASA as well as for various NASA contractors. Both she and her late husband Charlie enjoyed retirement in New Boston, TX before moving to Fort Worth to be closer to their grandson. Linda was a beloved member of her community, and both an avid quilter and knitter. She was smart, funny, and generous with her resources. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, Grammy, sister, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Dumis; granddaughter, Sasha Dumis; and her sister, Cindy Priest. She is survived by her three sons, Craig Droubi, Russell Dumis and his wife, Kellye, and Ryan Dumis; grandson, Carson Droubi; granddaughters, Autumn Dumis and Haley Smith; brother, Rick George; nieces, Jennifer Hamm-Jones and Wendi Stout; nephew, Chris George.
