TOM ROSE

Tom Bill Rose, age 89, of Texarkana, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2022. He was born January 29, 1932 in Texarkana, Texas to Dee and Viola Hooper Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and A. A. (Buddy) and Jean Rose and Donald Leon Rose . He was also preceded in death by a son William Kirk Rose and one stepson Dewayne Willis. Tom Bill was a graduate of Mortuary School in Dallas, Texas and the Police Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a former Funeral Director for East Funeral Home, a fireman for Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department and a police officer for Texarkana Arkansas Police Department. He was also an employee of Red River Army Depot and a veteran of the Korean War. Tom Bill was survived by his wife of 50 years Joan Morrison Rose of Texarkana, Texas, a daughter Deborah Rose of Garland , Texas and a son Thomas Kelly Rose of Cottondale, Alabama and a sister-in-law Joy Rose of Pipe Creek, Texas. Also left to cherish his memory are his three grandchildren, Caitlin Rose, Josh Rose and Sean Rose and his four stepgrandchildren and their spouses, Caitlin Willis (Justin), Cody Willis, Jarrett Willis and Jerison Willis (Gina) and a number of great grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother-in-law and his spouse; Raleigh Morrison (Joyce) and a nephew Mike Rose and two nieces Lisa Tirrito and Kathy Rehkoph.
