ELMER CLARK

Mr. Elmer Clark was born in Wamba, Texas March 30, 1951 to Virgil Sr. and Ann C’bell Clark. He attended public school in Texarkana and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. He relocated to Los Angeles for many years before returning home in 2011. Elmer was preceded in death by: his father, Virgil Clark, Sr.; his mother, Annie C’bell Clark; two brothers, Otis “Head” Owens and Willie “Tame” Owens; and one sister, Velma “Gike” Blackstone. “BeBe” leaves to cherish precious memories: children, Regina Nelson and Vera Wiley of Fresno, CA, Elmer Clark, Jr., Otha Clark and Ebon Johnson of Oakland, CA and Keisha Clark of Richmond, CA; step-children, Jim Gordon (Donna) and Gordon Gordon (Alicia) of Emeryville, CA, and Tony Griffin, and Tray Von Griffin of Texarkana, TX; grandchildren, Jonathan, Rod, Aniyah, Shay, Isiah, Shamaia and Aaliyah; special friend, Sandra Finley; special brother-in-law, Jerry Duckett, Sr. of Texarkana, TX; special niece, LaToya Carson (Antonio) of Texarkana, TX; brother, Virgil Clark, Jr. of Texarkana, TX; sisters, Annie Clark Duckett (Jerry Sr.) and Cora Clark of Texarkana, TX; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services for Mr. Clark will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Haynes Mortuary.
