Larry Michael Wilcher Sr.

Larry Michael Wilcher Sr., age 74, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 21, 2022, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Larry was born February 11, 1948, in Rayville, Louisiana, to Grady and Merline Wilcher. He was retired from International Paper; and was a member of First Baptist Church, Queen City where he served as a Deacon for many years. He was an avid bass fisherman; and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christina Michelle Wilcher; and his parents, Grady and Dorthy Wilcher, and Merline and Red Bailey. He is survived by his wife, Marty Wilcher of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Larry Wilcher Jr. and wife Rebecca of Ashdown, Arkansas, Matthew Dwayne Wilcher of Texarkana, Texas, Amanda Wiley and husband Jeff of Atlanta, Texas; brother, Ron Wilcher and wife Sandy of Bossier City, Louisiana; sisters, Brenda Benefield and husband Bill, Karen Faulk and husband Kent both of Homer, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Hunter Wilcher of Denver, Colorado, Alyssa Cade and husband Michael of Boerne, Texas, Jordan Wiley, and Jhett Wiley both of Atlanta, Texas; and a number of bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family and friends. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 26, 2022, at First Baptist Church, Queen City, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Billy Rex Sheets officiating.
