Jerry S. Clements

Jerry S. Clements, age 80, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 28, 2022 in a local nursing facility. He was born January 31, 1942 in Queen City, Texas to Shep and Medie Clements. He was a Baptist by faith and was retired from Shell Oil Co. His children and grandchildren gave him his greatest joy. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Bob Clements and Fran Clements. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sue Clements of Atlanta, Texas; two sons, Todd Clements and wife Tammi of Atlanta, Texas, Gregg Clements of Hallsville, Texas; brother, William Clements of Texarkana, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Joshua Clements and wife Chloe, Blake Clements, Ryan Clements, Colton Roberts; and a number of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Charles Hale officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Queen City Cemetery.
