LENA CARNLEY

Lena Katherine Lafayette Carnley, age 94, of Queen City, Texas passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. Lena was born December 21, 1927 in Fouke, AR. She was preceded in death by her son, Fred Danny Burt and great granddaughter, Marissa Michelle Burt-Williams. Survivors include her husband of 75 years Edward Carnley of Queen City, TX; two daughters and one son-in-law, Carolyn Gray of Queen City, TX and Mary Jean Collins and husband Pat of Evansville, IN; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John and Linda Carnley of Atlanta, TX and Vernon Carnley of Queen City, TX; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Shadydale Cemetery, Queen City, TX with Rev. Timothy Collins officiating under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2022 at the funeral home. The family requests that any flowers be purchased from Atlanta Floral and Gifts, 113 E.
