JAMES FRANKLIN “FRANKIE” ADCOCK

James Franklin “Frankie” Adcock, age 83, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 14, 2022 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Frankie was born August 15, 1939 in Bloomburg, Texas, to Samuel Horace and Thelma Stanley Adcock. He was the retired owner of J.F. Adcock Dozer Work and was a member of First Baptist Church, Bloomburg, Texas. He enjoyed flying air planes and helicopters, hunting, fishing and attempting gardening. He also enjoyed a wager and a hand of cards amongst friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Horace and Thelma Adcock, sister, Sarah Jo Adcock, and brother, Billy Pat Adcock. He is survived by his wife, Nelda Adcock of Atlanta, Texas, children Tammy Caver of Atlanta, Texas, Terry Adcock of Atlanta, Texas, and Lisa Belote and husband Michael, of Atlanta, Texas, step-children David Tolleson and wife Kelli, of Jefferson, Texas, Cherry Tolleson of Atlanta, Texas, and Deric Tolleson and wife Judy, of Bloomburg, Texas, eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2022 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gary Terry officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hanner Funeral Service. Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Guest registry is available at www.hannerfuneralservice.com.
