EVELYN KING

Evelyn Mae King, age 101, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Evelyn was born October 23, 1920 in Winthrop, AR. She enjoyed yard work, sewing and helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reaburn S. King; and her sister, Polly Thomas. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ken Guthrie officiating under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mandeville Baptist Church.
