DONALD WRIGHT

Donald Boss Wright, age 90, of Ashdown, AR was born September 16, 1932 in Arkinda, AR. He passed away Friday, February 17, 2023, in Texarkana, TX at the Hospice of Texarkana. Donald was born to Boss Wright and Pearl Elizabeth Davis. He preceded in death by his parents. Donald worked for the paper mill in the production department. Donald served in the United States Army as a staff sergeant. He also fought for his country during the Korean Conflict. Donald was also a member of the King Ryder Church of Christ in Arkinda, AR. He is survived by his spouse Helen Wright of Ashdown, AR; four daughters and sons-in-law: Jackie and Randy Roberts of Dallas, TX; Teri and Bryan Barlow of Doddridge, AR; Karen Wright of Douglasville, TX and Darla and Steve Draper of Vilonia, AR. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation was held at Madden Funeral Home Chapel in Ashdown, AR on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services was held on Tuesday, February, 21, 2023 at King Ryder Church of Christ, Arkinda, AR at 2:00 pm with James McRae officiating. Interment to follow at Piney Cemetery, Arkinda, AR.
