OPHELIA WILLIAMSON

Ophelia Mae Howry Williamson, age 92, of Ashdown, AR was born August 15, 1930 in Valliant, OK. She passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, in Ashdown, AR. Ophelia was born to James Clardy Faulkner and Sarah Lacy Roebuck Faulkner. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, O’Neal Faulkner and her granddaughter, Leah Howry. Ophelia graduated from high school then worked as a Supervisor in the cafeteria at Oklahoma University. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ashdown, AR. She is survived by her spouse Homer Williamson of Ashdown, AR; four sons: Billy Mack Howry of Dibble, OK; Ray Howry of Cole, OK; Leo Howry of Dibble, OK and Cleo Howry of Dibble, OK; one daughter: Bobbie Salas of Midwest City, OK; eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Visitation was held at the First United Methodist Church in Ashdown, AR on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a lunch break prior to funeral service. Funeral Service was held at the First United Methodist Church in Ashdown, AR at 2:00 pm with Jim Cross officiating. Interment to follow at the Moran Cemetery Pavilion in Valliant, OK.
