DON LAMON

Don Lewis Lamon, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 4, 2023. Don was born and lived all his life in Ashdown, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Floyd and Robbie Lamon, as well as his stepson, Lee Fowler. Don is survived by his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Beth Lamon; one son, Michael Lamon; three stepchildren, Bob Fowler (Diane), Maribeth Dunn (Paul), and Michael Fowler (Judy); grandchildren, Lakelynn Lamon, Noel DuBose, Ethan Ledesma, Sean Dunn, Justin Thurmond, Elizabeth Fowler, Tripp Fowler, and four great grandchildren. Don proudly served his country and is a Vietnam veteran. Don worked in Law enforcement, built and worked at Nekoosa Paper Mill. Later in life, Don worked as a purchasing agent for Tyson Foods. He loved life in every way and all the people he called friends. He was a great crappie fisherman and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks! His was a life well lived! A memorial service will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown with Pastor Bob Fowler officiating.
